My favorite band-ever, Falling in Reverse, is having a fall
tour called The Thug in Me is You,kind of like one of their song names the drug
in me is you, which is great by the way, the tour took place during Oct. 11
through Dec. 1. I of course wanted to go see them perform and not only perform
but actually meet my idol the lead singer Ronnie Radke, who has been through a
lot of difficult situations like being kicked out of his old band going to jail
being into drugs and all that bad stuff but while he was in jail he eventually
overcame all of that and wrote songs and if you listen to his songs you will
hear everything. Anyways in order for me to meet my idol I had to buy a V.I.P
concert tickets which were only on sale for a limited time and to my surprise
weren't higher than $100 they were only $40 and i actually had my own money to
pay back my mom for it. I asked my oldest brother if he wanted to come with me
since i did get him into listening to them and i would feel completely lost
without an adult there, and he said yes. Unfortunately i didn't have internet
so i had to try and use my phone and I was sitting there for an hour trying to
figure out why it wouldn't accept my mothers credit card, eventually i decided
to go on my laptop and see if I could connect to a random WiFi connection just
long enough to buy the tickets and I spent another couple of hours trying to
connect to the internet. I was starting to panic and think that i would never
be able to get them that day so i decided to give and try again the next day, but
before i gave up i tried one more time on my phone. When i was waiting for the
web site to finish loading i noticed most of the cities had been sold out in
the few hours that i had tried to buy the tickets and i hoped that the tickets
for Dec. 1st weren't sold out, but when i finally got to the bottom of the list
i saw the tickets to that show were sold out. Dec. 1st was the only day that
they were in Pomona, CA i was so disappointed and sad i was throwing a tantrum
all over my house which i guess only helped to express my anger for a little
while and hey there's always next year. 2013 tour with all new song and a new
album which they will release in early 2013.
